There are a lot of misconceptions about softball. It is thought as an easier version of baseball, where in reality it is harder to hit a professional softball pitch than a MLB baseball pitch. I'm not saying one is better than the other, I'm just saying people need to see softball in action before they judge. I love both baseball and softball, softball just gets a bad rep.
Pro Softball pitchers can throw upwards of 70 miles (112 Kilometres).
Baseball mounts are 60 ft 6 inches from the batter, combined with a pitch at about the speed of 95 miles per hour gives the batter 395 milli seconds to react
Softball mounts are 43 ft from the batter combined with a pitch at about the speed of 70 miles per hour gives the batter 350 milli seconds to react
